Announcing the 2023 Bloomfield Girls Robotics Competition (BGRC) College Scholarships
For 2023, we will be awarding five scholarships. Assuming 32 teams attend, each scholarship will be $1000. Funding for the scholarships will come from the team registration fees and generous sponsor donations. Scholarship winners are responsible for any tax obligations. Therefore, if the event is canceled, or overall participation reduced, the scholarship amounts may need to be reduced accordingly or eliminated.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. The scholarships are for 2023-2024 school year female seniors who will be attending post high school education institutions (college, community college, university, technical school).
2. Only students on teams attending the 2023 BGRC can apply. The student must also be attending with the team.
3. One of the scholarships is open to all girls while the others require that they pursue a STEM related degree.
4. Students must submit answers to a short question set (below) and answer an essay question.
DEADLINE: Applications must be received by Friday, October 20, 2023.
